Can Dogs Eat Shrimp

NCI_steamed_shrimp[1]

Dogs can eat shrimp.

If you give your dog shrimp, make sure it is fully cooked, and it is properly peeled.  It is important to also note that some sauces may contain  ingredients that can be harmful to your dog.

Shrimp is ok for dogs to have, but dogs should not eat a large amount. This is because shrimp are high in fat, and large amounts of anything fattening is unhealthy for dogs.
